Addiction is a deep dark place, whether it be an addiction to drugs, alcohol, pornography, or sin in general. It consumes your life, ruins relationships, destroys marriages & lives. But... You don't have to stay in that dark pit, because there is a God who loves you & wants to help you have love, peace, joy, & happiness, despite your circumstances in life.
He is my Oxygen no matter what what is going on in my life, He is as necessary as the air I breathe. Try Him today & see!!!...
I gave my life to God at a very young age in Colorado where I'm from, but after a number of life-altering events, I grew rebellious. I considered myself a wild-child for many years. I call that "my 40 years in the wilderness". You can read about it in my blog "All About Me". I lived many years in abusive relationships but those made me who I am today. And Jesus Christ made me whose I am today! It is my desire to be able to help others through what I have learned, almost always the hard way. I have learned oh so much. Let's go through this journey together, living life loud, to God's glory!

This was a really great article I found on Crosswalk.com and had to create a short post on it!
Struggling to trust God doesn't necessarily mean a lack of "trust"; because we can trust God with every part of our being and because of low self-esteem or baggage, we struggle to find trust within ourselves for anything at times.............
I know! To be quite honest I struggle because of both low self-esteem and my past that rears its ugly head way too much in my life!!
I hope you will take the time to go to the link and read the entire thing!
“Whom have I in heaven but You?
And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:25-26 NASB
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.”
Berean Study Bible
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:1-2 NIV
"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears;
He delivers them from all their troubles.
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted;
He saves the contrite in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the LORD delivers him from them all."
Berean Study Bible
"We wait in hope for the LORD;
He is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love be with us, LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.:
Psalm 33:20-22 NIV
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 NIV
